Antitrust

In the antitrust field, Neil started his career by litigating cases on behalf of the United States before various federal appellate courts.  After moving to private practice, Neil has:

​​

  • Counseled trade associations regarding potential antitrust issues that arise from association activities.

​

  • Advised parties involved in international trade cases regarding the antitrust issues arising from coordinated defense activities.

 

  • Advised ad hoc groups regarding the antitrust exemption (and the limits of that exemption) for government advocacy efforts.

 

  • Provided advice regarding the reporting requirements for mergers and acquisitions under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act, and guided parties through the reporting process.

  • Assisted in the management of responses to HSR document production (“second”) requests.
