In the antitrust field, Neil started his career by litigating cases on behalf of the United States before various federal appellate courts. After moving to private practice, Neil has:

Counseled trade associations regarding potential antitrust issues that arise from association activities.

Advised parties involved in international trade cases regarding the antitrust issues arising from coordinated defense activities.

Advised ad hoc groups regarding the antitrust exemption (and the limits of that exemption) for government advocacy efforts.

Provided advice regarding the reporting requirements for mergers and acquisitions under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act, and guided parties through the reporting process.
